HRM CHIDALU OGWUELEKA'S FINAL WALK
It is with gratitude to almighty God that I wish to bow out gracefully as
Adandiigbo 2012. Indeed this year has been a very tasking one for me
emotionally, academically, financially and otherwise. Balancing the demands
of the office as well as those of my studies as a Pharmacy undergraduate
student was not an easy one. I am glad I pulled through.
It only seems like yesterday but my reign has really come and gone. Come December 1, 2013 another beauty queen would be crowned.
A sneak peek into my activities in the past year would reveal
travels and projects to fufill the expectations of the office, and achievements were made.
At the start of my reign, I had a dream of reaching out to the less
privileged in the society as a way of giving back to the society that
invested much in me and also contributing to the growth and development of
our future leaders. I am glad to announce to you that both were achieved
through health outreach in a rural setting and school outreach programme
respectively.
At this juncture, I wish to say a big thank you to all my benefactors and
benefactoresses, who one way or another contributed to the success of the
projects. I also thank the Adandiigbo Pageant for the opportunity through
which the above were achieved. May God bless you all immensely.
I would like to end with a quote by Suzanne Collins: "Fly you high"
Long live Adandiigbo Pageant
Long live Ndi Igbo
Long live Nigeria.
Thanks and God bless
