The Adandiigbo -The Most beautiful Igbo girl cultural Pageant is in its season 8 and is Holding in Awka , Anambra State .

The Adandiigbo cultural pageant was created in 2004 as a high Profile non swimsuit cultural Pageant designed to celebrate and promote the beauty and virtues of the Igbo girl child , it is in recognition of this symbolic role of the ADA ,the daughters of Igbo land in traditional Igbo society which attracts a lot of social responsibility and respect

In its efforts to build bridges across ethnic Nationalities the pageant was hosted in Lagos state in 2007,all other years has been within Igboland Abia in 2009 , Rivers in 2006,Enugu in 2008 ,Imo 2005,2010 and 2011.This Igbo event is held annually and in most cases has had to move from one state to the other in its efforts to capture the cultural heritage of the particular state and its uniqueness in the language and other aspects of life .

This year the train is moving to Awka where the Igbo People here are known to be blacksmiths ,gunsmiths and very great warriors ,join us in Awka this year as we explore the cultural Tourism of the land of Great Igbo warriors of old and in recent times great and well bred Politicians of Note ,industry captains and Academicians , Fabricators of the great ogbunigwe ,and home state of the Ikemba of Nnewi .
